The Casio WK8000 digital keyboard is an 88 key piano-style keyboard equipped with custom stand, dual-element ZPI sound source and drawbar organ function. It boasts an amazingly clear, crisp and realistic sound with 670 rich, bountiful, preset tones, and 224 user tones.
The Casio WK8000 also features an on-board sequencer and a mixer, for unmatched creative possibilities, plus powerful 2-way bass reflex speakers. It's ideal for home/project studio use, open-mic performance, education/classroom applications, or simply for pure musical enjoyment. Connect it to your computer via USB or use the SD card slot. Includes a custom stand and AD-12 AC adaptor.
Built-in Flash memory lets you expand your selection of tones and rhythms by downloading data from the CASIO MUSIC SITE, or by the CD-ROM that comes bundled with the keyboard. You can also store up to 200 SMF format music files for playback.
A large built-in display shows chord names, tempo settings, keyboard information, and staff notation of notes played. A backlight keeps the display easy to read, even in total darkness.
The General MIDI tones of the WK8000 keyboard let you connect to a personal computer to enjoy "desktop music" capabilities. This keyboard can be used as a desktop music input device or sound source, and works great for playback of commercially available General MIDI music software.
The Casio WK8000 has features few other digital keyboards can claim. The SD card slot, floppy drive, and USB port give this Casio keyboard maximum versatility for saving and storing data.
Casio prides itself on revolutionary new products that are designed, and engineered to make digital music more accessible, and quality sounding. While Casio's WK series is a mid-level keyboard series, it too offers quality innovations in its price range relative to that of Casio's more upscale Privia digital pianos. Each of the series provides unsurpassed quality in their respective categories and price-points.
