000-Style Carolina Series acoustic guitars put the huge acoustic tone of the Carolina Series into a thinner body. With a soft-V neck shape and the classic features of dreadnaught Carolinas, the 000 models have great playability and tone.
Carolina Series guitars have the design and feel of an American tradition. Designed by master craftsman Greg Rich with quality control standards set by Scott Zimmerman, each guitar is handmade from hand-select woods and features pristine workmanship and a full, booming tone.
From traditional folk to progressive bluegrass, there are features on every Carolina to appeal to your acoustic style. These guitars feature a solid Engelmann spruce top, back and sides made African mahogany, classic fittings such as butterbean tuners and hand-cut abalone/M.O.P. detailing.
The big, well-balanced tone on these guitars is exceptional especially because of the pre-war style construction. The fully scalloped forward-x bracing is a 1930's style that adds strength and resonance to lower registers and more clarity to the highs.
