We've used the same Mackie gear for the last 3 years and only had one failure when somebody switched off the electricity by accident and blew a speaker. We had it repaired and you can't tell which speaker has been repaired. The quality is the same as before. Replacement? Only when the speaker falls apart and the tape holding it together comes away. They'll be used until they run out of steam which I can't see for a long long time. Mackie speakers are easy to set up and use and you can add extra ones into the set up without any problem. We started out with two SRM450's then added one SWA1501 base then another then added two more SRM450's.
