Martin D15 Acoustic Guitar with Case (Mahogany) With the simply-decorated Martin D15, Martin has reintroduced the mahogany-top acoustic that was so popular in the 1940's (currently their most affordable guitar). The D15's solid, genuine mahogany construction produces exeptional tone. Features of the Martin D15 include a 2-piece back, "A-frame" X-bracing, a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, a rosewood bridge and a satin body finish. The top is trimmed with a single banded gold herringbone decal rosette and a tortise-colord pickguard. Mellower tonality and the classic playability and heritage of an American-made Martin instrument make the D15 a tremendous value. Hardshell Case Included. This is the best sounding acoustic in it's catagory. If mine was stolen, I'd replace right away. If you modify the D-15 Rosewood as I mentioned here, it's a keeper. And not a throw away guitar.
