Ever bit as sturdy as the 9000 series DW stands. I have 2. One has my floating floor tom on it and it is tough to knock over. The other one I pulled out the top portion and inserted the tom arms from my bass drum. I made it a double tom stand....and again....Ultimately sturdy. I fully recommend the this stand. Both the CS900 and the CB900 (boom stand)
