I think this is a great value in a cello case. It's not fancy, but it would be good for someone who just needs a basic, solid case to take around town to gigs or rehearsals or whatever. Not too heavy, not too light. I like the molded plastic case idea better than those cheap foam cases. The fiberglass and composite cases are flimsy when you have them open and only seem solid with the lid closed.This one is much better in that regard. When/if it wears out I would get another one.
