• Massenburg DesignWorks, headed by George Massenburg, the engineer who introduced the parametric equalizer, provides advanced software and hardware tools, bringing sophisticated audio technology previously restricted to only the very high-end of the audio industry.
• The plug in, which take use of the Roland VS8F-3 processing card, is a four band, fully parametric equalizer that processes the audio at 88.2 KHz and 96 KHz, even if the audio is at lower rates. This provides a much more elegant result that doesn't suffer from the normal artifacts associated with standard techniques. The result is a more natural and pleasing sound that reminds users of great analog processing, only better.
• Grammy and TEC Award-winner George Massenburg is internationally renowned as a producer, recording engineer and designer of audio equipment - a man in love with music, the art of reproduction, and the recording process. In a career spanning over 30 years, he has worked with such artists as Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Billy Joel, Kenny Loggins, Journey, Phil Collins, Toto, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, James Taylor, Little Feat, Herbie Hancock, Weather Report, Carly Simon, and Earth, Wind and Fire. Massenburg, a member of the Faculty of Music of McGill University, has received three Grammies, including the Grammy for Technical Achievement in 1998. George Massenburg has been responsible for engineering some of the most respected recordings of the modern era, as well as creating that mainstay of the recording process, the parametric equalizer.
