For the CD jockeys of the world, there is the FS CD Adaptor Kit. This optional kit for FinalScratch® 1.x users makes it possible to control your digital audio files using CD players instead of turntables.
*Note that FinalScratch 2 users do not need the FS CD Adaptor Kit to use CD players.
Use FinalScratch with CD Players
The FS CD Adaptor Kit works with your existing FinalScratch 1.0-1.5 and allows you to manipulate digital files from your computer using CD players. Digital music files are stored on your hard drive, and controlled by use of the special FinalScratch Discs.
The FS Discs do not contain music, but instead include digital timecode to track with the digital music files. As a DJ manipulates the discs, the music also moves in real time with no audible delay. With FS CD you can still use your favorite CD functions such as scratching, seamless looping, and hot start.
