This six-string Dreadnought combines the bright, clear and balanced tones of Big Leaf maple and Sitka spruce to create an exciting tonal palette. The distinctive blend of Big Leaf maple and Sitka spruce creates a bright, crystalline timbre with strong projection and warm overtones.
Guitar Shape
A traditional shape refined, we combine classic dreadnought volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor's signature design accentuates. Recent re-voicing turns up the bass and volume even more. Dreadnoughts respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.
Taylor Expression System

Gloss Finish
The finish used to create this guitar's lustrous gloss top, back, and sides was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes. Available finish options in this series include natural, amber, red, black, blue, cherry/black sunburst, cherry sunburst, honey sunburst, and tobacco sunburst.
