Taylor T5 Custom
The T5 is Taylor's first-ever electric guitar. Built like an acoustic guitar with a fully-hollow thinline body, the T5 is designed to be equally comfortable played through both electric and acoustic amps. The T5 has a versatile range of pure analog tones, from strumming acoustic to crunch electric—and everything in between.
Woods
A sapele body provides the ideal tonal and structural properties that enable the T5 to perform in both acoustic and electric environments. For the T5 Custom, we offer a Sitka spruce top or opt for the extra sizzle and style of a Hawaiian koa or maple top. Because the T5 is a true hollowbody, the top acts as a soundboard that helps shape its versatile range of tones.
