10" x 5.5" Steel Shell

Steel shells have the brightest tone of our metal shell snare drums. The SD-2055's small diameter shell has a high pitch that pops but the 5.5" depth still has some body so the drum doesn't sound thin.

One-Piece Lugs

One-piece lugs allow high tension and added strength.

"B" Type Snare Strainer

The B type strainer is a classic design that's simple and reliable.

Tom mount included

The SD-2055 includes a tom mount so that you can mount it from a cymbal or tom stand with an optional CL-940 ball clamp.
