Yanagisawa B991
Yanagisawa B991 Description:
Eb Baritone - Low A, high F# key, improved F, low C and spatula keys
Low A to High F#. Lacquered Brass, hand engraved. "Much like the 901 but a little more reserved, more mature. A very laid-back instrument, one for connoisseurs of smooth jazz and refined classical music. However, it can deliver when a bit more punch is needed, and high register playing is very secure."
Supplied with good quality hard case, strap and ebonite mouthpiece.
The B-991 is designed and crafted with the utmost of care, imparting to the instrument an evenness of tone and rich, vibrant response in all registers and at all dynamic levels. The B-991 possesses a refinement of tone uncommon among baritones, yet its strength and projection provide a rock-solid foundation for quartet and section work. Numerous keywork improvements places this with the B-9930 as the most mechanically superior baritone saxophone in the world.
